RESOLVED: Pediatrics Desktop VDI HTML Connection Offline

The UFHealth VDI system, which the Pediatrics Desktop VDI is hosted on, is currently experiencing system wide issues for all UFHealth customers.  The system is not accepting connections using the HTML access method.  Connections can still be made using the VMware Horizon client.  Connections external to UF (remote, eduroam Wi-Fi, etc.) will need to launch the VPN first.  UFHealth IT is aware of the issue and is working as quick as possible to resolve the issue.

Steps:

  1. VPN (external users only): https://itcenter.pediatrics.med.ufl.edu/user-guides/uf/gatorlink-vpn/
  2. VDI Client: https://itcenter.pediatrics.med.ufl.edu/user-guides/pediatrics/pedsdesktopvdi/
    1. Onsite Peds computers can install the VDI client from Software Center on your Desktop
  3. Launch the client and add server https://myUFviewLOCAL.ahc.ufl.edu

Some users may also get a message that “all available desktop sources for this desktop pool are currently busy”.  There is currently no solution for this error.  UFHealth IT is aware of the issue and is working as quick as possible to resolve the issue.  We will send an update to this email and post on our IT Center site for any updates and when all issues have been resolved.  Please email helpdesk@peds.ufl.edu or call (352) 273-5808 with any questions.
