Citrix Pediatrics Portal

Pediatrics IT Center Notice – Please Read Below

Pediatrics Faculty and Staff,

The Pediatrics IT Center will be retiring the Citrix Pediatrics Portal on Wednesday, 1/15/2020.  This service is hosted on servers that are end of support and must be removed from the UF network.

Pediatrics IT is offering a new service called the Pediatrics Desktop VDI.  This new VDI service is ready for use and available for login to all Pediatrics Faculty and Staff.  Access is available on Windows, Apple, and Android devices.  This new VDI is quite similar to the older Citrix Pediatrics Portal but also offers additional apps and an optional clientless access method.  Please see the below overview of this new VDI service and a link to our website on site access information and client download and configuration.

Please note: This new VDI service will offer your usual Peds H:, I:, and L: drive mappings.  Your software settings, Documents folder, and Internet Explorer Favorites will be saved between sessions.  Files saved on your Desktop folder within the VDI will NOT be saved between sessions.  All files saved to the Desktop folder will be erased when you logoff from your session.  Please make sure to save all files in your session to one of you Peds drive folders.
